“Crane medicine,” king of the water birds. Powerful astringent that stops the outflow of fluid: bleeding, urine, expectoration, sweat, diarrhea, (especially when accompanied by mucus); profuse mucus from lungs or stomach.
Known as Bee Balm. Traditional Native American remedy for fever. Cool, moist skin is a specific indicator. For bronchial asthma, colic, stomach tension and tinnitus (ringing in the ear).
Lymphatic Wellness. For a number of complaints, Violet has been used historically, traditionally and in folk medicine. We highlight it’s use and value for the lymphatic system and drainage, among other things. Violet is a cooling remedy that calms the cough or spirits. One of Margo’s favorites for its balancing action yet gentle nature.
Valerian dominates the herbal realm as a tranquilizer. It calms the nerves. For shortness of breath, restlessness, mental strain and fainting. Also used on small animals for anxiety.
A great remedy that is specific for endometriosis. Also a uterine astringent. Aids in labor and with menopause. Do Not take if pregnant or nursing. For uterine cysts and fibroids, this is a must.
Valuable as a strengthener and toner of the womb during pregnancy. Also for a variety of other conditions including bleeding gums, leukorrhea and diarrhea.
